Anoryxol

Hoodia gordonii („Xhoba“, „Ghaap“), a cactus-like plant, but not a true cactus, is indiginous to Southern Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana). This succulent with Gurke-shaped arms and plate-like, salmon-coloured leaves grows best on sandy soils exposed to the hot and very dry climate provided by the semi-deserts of Southern Africa. Hoodia gordonii has been well-known and much appreciated for centuries by the San people and Bushmen of the Kalahari desert, who took advantage of its hunger- and thirst-suppressing activities by chewing on freshly cut wild-growing Hoodia gordonii. Pharmaceutical research by several companies and laboratories has generated the theory that a secondary plant ingredient termed “p57”, a pregnane glycoside, may be responsible for these activities. Although yet an unproven concept, p57 itself or in concert with other constituents may signal a sufficient level of blood sugar to the satiety centers of the brain, thus inducing a sensation of fullness, satiety and pleasure.

Each Anoryxol capsule contains 450 mg of a 20:1 concentrate of highly pure Hoodia gordonii. Hoodia gordonii powder used for Anoryxol is uniquely derived from plants cultivated, harvested and processed under strict ecological condition by German- native farmers in southern Namibia. Originality and quality of the product are strictly controlled for under the auspices of the Namibian Farmer Organisation and certified by the Department of Agriculture of the State of Namibia. Moreover, official Namibia Export Licensure and EU-Import Certificates (CETIS), respectively, are provided.

This original product is 100% pure, completely natural and free of heavy metals, herbizides and pesticides. No artifical flavours, sweeteners, colours or preservatives have been added.
